This
home comes complete with a live-in caretaker.
A
real estate axiom: improved property on the water is more
valuable than a similar building on an interior lot, unless
the house was built on a flood plain! When selling, do not
rely on the Internet to price your home. It can't "see"
the neighborhood. If buying, combine the Internet's power
to narrow the possibilities, with a real estate agent who
can show you inside and develop a "feel" for what
you really desire. Is that the front door or the back door?
Seeing, feeling!
Pictured:
left to right, Steve's 1941 Chrysler Town and Country, Carl
the caretaker, Steve Grobl. The estate in the background was
built by an auto baron and remained in his family until 1976.
The car that bore his given name was relatively unsuccessful.
What is the name of this museum of art and architecture?
