2006 Postcard #2
An image from Karl Grobl Photography, San Diego. Our mystery temples rise above the rainforest canopy and form the basis of an ancient city with a population estimated at over 100,000 people.
This photo is no longer attainable; access to Temple 4 has been blocked off. Nevertheless, it provides the image for our second post card in the "Temples and Tombs" contest. When this picture was taken howler monkeys, parrots and toucans were squawking in the background.
A real estate axiom: Hire a real estate agent who can filter out irrelevant background "noise" and focus on the transaction itself.
Question #2: Name the ancient city, the civilization which built it, and the modern day country that surrounds these ruins.
Save this post card, #2 of 5. Each has a question that must be answered during May. Remember, first prize is $200, second $100. Click here to view the other postcards in our 2006 contest.
Best of luck,
