2008 Postcard #5
Here is the 5th and final image in the "Illinois Mansions" contest.
A real estate axiom: a real estate deal is not completed until it is closed. Your agent must be there from start to finish.
Pictured above: Steve at the entrance of a private residence with a functional Wurlitzer Theater Organ. The organ and the full-sized "Eden Palais" carousel make this the largest residential electricity consumer in Illinois.
Question #5: While the master of the house collects locomotives, orchestrions and the like, his wife collects what? Also provide her name.
Contest winners will identify the mansion's name in post card #1; name the family and its dairy farm from February's card; from the March card, identify the chemicals making the owner wealthy; provide the street address and Congressman's name as asked in April's post card, and answer the questions above. Click here to view the other postcards in this contest.
Contact me via phone, fax, mail or email. The contest ends at 6 pm CDT, Sunday, May 25, 2008. In the event of multiple winning answers, the earliest contact will determine the winner. Include your name and telephone number in your response.
Winners of the $200 first prize and $100 second prize will be announced in our August mailing.
Thanks for participating!
