2009 Postcard #1
Steve Grobl Real Estate begins each year with a sleuthing contest.
The 2009 edition, our tenth, “Native Americans of Illinois,” will test your knowledge of biology, geology, history, and nature.
January through May you will receive post cards providing clues necessary to answer questions and win either the $200 first prize or the $100 second prize. Winners will receive American Express Gift Checks.
A real estate axiom: Timing is everything. Buying at the right time is the key to long term wealth accumulation. Now might be the right time with low interest rates and plentiful inventory.
Pictured above: Steve with an Indian bust carved in a tree trunk at the entrance to this 18-canyon park formed during the last Ice Age.
Question #1: Name this 2,600-acre state park made famous by a band of Illiniwek Indians who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Save this post card, #1 of 5. Each has a question that must be answered in May. Click here to view the postcards from our previous contests.
Good luck,
