2009 Postcard #5
This is the fifth and final stop in the "Native Americans of Illinois" contest.
A real estate axiom: There is a real estate agent to appeal to every personality; from flamboyant to quiet. Choose one comfortable to you.
Pictured here: Steve at the grave of Ottawa Chief Shabbona. Shabbona, like Tecumseh was described as "generous, forgiving, friendly and a man of integrity."
Question #5: Provide the name of the cemetery and city where Chief Shabbona is buried.
Contest winners will identify the state park as asked in post card #1; name the island and provide it's location from February's card; from the March card, identify the forest preserve; give the name of the nature center asked for in April's post card, and answer the question above. CLICK HERE if you misplaced a post card.
Contact me via any of the methods above. The contest ends at 6 pm CDT, Sunday, May 31, 2009. In the event of multiple winning answers, the earliest contact will determine the winner. Include your name and telephone number in your response.
Winners of the $200 first prize and $100 second prize will be announced in our August mailing.
Thanks for participating.
