The “Sounds and Sights of Italy” contest, our 13th annual, is over and I thank all participants.
It is now time to update you on some fantastic news, and as they say “blow my own horn.”
The 2011 Multiple Listing Service agent rankings were published in January. Of the 1,968 licensed agents in Naperville, yours truly finished #1 in total number of transactions completed by an independent agent (those not affiliated with a franchise).
When comparing all agents on total dollar volume, Steve Grobl finished a very respectable 16th even when pitted against agents working for national franchise firms.
The amazing part of these statistics is that I finished in the top 1% of all Naperville Realtors despite spending two weeks touring with my band, the Steve Grobl Orchestra, in Italy. I guess only trombone players can let their business slide and still come out on top!
