Mildred A. Eisele
July 14, 1912 - April 1, 2005

Meet Millie, one of Naperville's early telephone operators. Mildred, her childhood home, and her 1977 Cadillac-a retirement present to herself-are all in mint condition. Millie is one of Steve Grobl Real Estate's first clients and one of his best sources of referrals. She still works the phones! Millie invites you to surf the new web site of Steve Grobl Real Estate at www.stevegrobl.com.

Mildred says "Mr. Grobl decided to debut the new web site by conducting the second sleuthing contest of 2001. Unprecedented-two conte$t$ in the same year!"

First prize is a five-course dinner with Millie and Steve Grobl
Second prize is Sunday brunch with Millie and Stevenski

Mildred, whose voice was the first many GI's heard as they returned from World War II and called home, has transitioned from two-digit phone numbers, to the Elmwood 5 exchange, to her car phone (pictured), to the computer age.

Here are the contest questions (visit www.stevegrobl.com for helpful clues and formulas):
1. Guess the number of years Mildred worked for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company
2. Guess the number of years Steve has lived in Naperville
3. Calculate the monthly payment on a $300,000 home using a down payment of 10%, a 30-year mortgage and an interest rate of 7.125%

If you do not have a computer with web access you can still participate, but without those helpful clues. Friends or librarians could provide computer help. Contest ends August 18, 2001 at 6:00pm. Submit answers via www.stevegrobl.com or by any of the modes listed above. Winners will be determined by the accuracy of the answers and the timeliness of the responses.

The same creativity and energy, our in-house staff used to produce a web site of this caliber is applied to the development of the marketing plans we use to sell our clients properties or find homes for our buyers.

Good luck,
Steve
